For my off-campus service I volunteered with St. Basils Extend Care. My time there consisted of watching over the kids, handing out snack, and helping with home work. The kids were super welcoming and liked to ask me a lot of questions. The ages ranged from kindergarten to eight grade. This experience was extremely fun because you never know what to expect from little kids. I also attended a movie night which is what extended care puts on. There I helped hand out pizza and other snacks and watched over the kids. I really enjoyed my experience with the kids and the other staff and I would return to extend care again to volunteer.
